WHY BUY FROM US?
You can be assured this website is backed up by a real bricks and mortar florist store at 48 St John St Launceston, that has been established since 1998. Tamar Valley Roses (our parent flower growing company - specialising in cut flower roses) was established in 1978 at Rosevears.
WHERE DO OUR FLOWERS COME FROM
We at Tamar Valley Roses are well known for the beautiful cut flower roses we grow. We also grow the Pomponi gerberas and some foliage that the shop stocks. In addition we buy a number of other cut flowers from Tasmanian growers, lilliums, tulips, stock snapdragons from Table Cape, alstroemeria from Gawler, freesias, iris and ranunculus from Wesleyvale, peonies and hydrangeas from the far North West and chrysanthemum from further down the Tamar Valley. In addition to these crops, we also bring in some specialty lines from interstate, but we endeavour to buy Tasmanian whenever and wherever we can. Of course all these flowers are seasonal, so we only have them instore when we can!

DELIVERY INFORMATION MONDAY to FRIDAY ONLY
We offer guaranteed, same day delivery, Monday to Friday, throughout Launceston when orders are received by 1pm AEST.
Deliveries to George Town and surrounding area, West Tamar and surrounding area may be delivered the following day due to the use of external couriers.
Our delivery fee is $15 to all areas listed below. Please contact us by phone or email if you have any special requirements.
An order confirmation will be emailed to you upon The Tamar Valley Rose Shop receiving your order.
All flower arrangements are delivered by courier.
Please ensure the delivery address is correct, and is a physical location. PO Box numbers are NOT acceptable for delivery address details.
The Tamar Valley Rose Shop cannot take any responsibility for incorrect delivery details received, and consequent costs that may be incurred.
Deliveries to apartments and gated areas.
Please ensure someone will be home on the expected day of delivery. Due to security and access codes in gated residences and buildings it can make it difficult for couriers to gain access. The Tamar Valley Rose Shop recommend you supply the gift recipient's phone number to assist with any delivery difficulties. Ensure details of floor number, unit number, street address, apartment name are included in your recipient's delivery address details.

Any orders placed during the weekend will be dispatched on the first available weekday. There are no deliveries on Saturday, Sundays and public holidays, except on special holiday weekends.
Urgent Deliveries
If you require an urgent, last minute delivery call us on 03 63315723 and we will endeavour to arrange a delivery as quickly as we can. The Tamar Valley Rose Shop can give you an estimated delivery time and additional cost based on current couriers schedules and pickup times.
Delivery issues
Should your product not arrive on the expected day, call us immediately on 03 63315723 and we will ensure the delivery issue is resolved, or a new item will be sent.
RETURNS POLICY GUARANTEE
The Tamar Valley Rose Shop is committed to providing quality products to our customers. If for any reason your flower arrangement arrives damaged or not in perfect condition it may be exchanged for another arrangement to the same value, or a refund will be issued.
Simply return the flower arrangement to The Tamar Valley Rose Shop, 48 St John St, Launceston within 48 hours of receipt. Returned arrangements must be sent with an explanation for their return. Substitution policy
While our florists will attempt to use the exact flower types and containers pictured, we reserve the right to make fair and reasonable substitutions according to the practical availability or seasonality of specific flower types and containers. In the case where a specific flower type or colour is unavailable, substitutions may be made within the arrangement to achieve the same overall shape, style and colour effect and to ensure that the order is delivered on time.
Quality
Throughout Australia seasonal and regional conditions may affect the supply and cost of flowers and foliage. In these circumstances The Tamar Valley Rose Shop reserve the right to make appropriate substitutions whilst maintaining the value of your order.
Containers
Where possible a particular container, vase, box, ceramic pot ordered will be supplied. Should these not be available, then alternative containers of a similar value and style may be substituted.
